  • WHY WE LOVE IT

GIA’s Royal Blue color designation describes the sapphire's hue, which is one of the most desirable. Royal Blue is deeply saturated with traces of purple. Other designations, one being Cornflower, is a designation that describes a blue as true of as nature allows, and is a lighter but heavily saturated hue, without a trace of purple. Padparadscha, for example requires a particular balance between pink and orange which GIA can assess through their lab. Royal Blue could increase the value of your sapphire, or simply, it reminds you that your sapphire is of a

    rare and desirable blue.
